日本だと医療費はほとんど保険で賄えるので、お金があまりかかりませんが、海外で病気になると医療費が高くて大変なようでした。
アメリカのLAに旅行に行った生徒さんが、お腹が痛くなり病院に行って検査をしてもらったら、30万円ぐらいかかりびっくりしたと言っていました。
クレジットカードに海外旅行保険が付いていたのがあり、帰国後それで支払うことが出来ましたが、なんと日本の金額の100倍ぐらいに簡単になってしまうみたいです・・。
日本は医療費が安いのもあり、病院はいつもたくさんの人で混んでいます。 でも私は病院は出来るだけ行きたくないです。
今回検査は2回目ではありましたが、前日の下剤でお腹がすごく痛くなり、とても辛かったです。
しかし、私と同じ検査でスタンバイしていた男性が、麻酔を使わないで検査をすると言っていたのを聞いて、私もそうしてみました！
麻酔をかけなかったので、モニター画面を見ることが出来、身体の痛みなどの感覚にフォーカスすることなく、ドクターと話をしながら検査を行えました。
以前、医者に腸美人と言われた私ですが、１ｍぐらいの小型カメラ付きの物が入り、下腹部に違和感がグッと何度か来たときには、そのたびにお腹をグッと押さえてしまいましたが、深い呼吸法をしてどうにか乗り切りました・・
終了後、自分に「お疲れさま！」と言い、甘い物をたくさんいただきました 🍰
夏ですので痩せようと思っていますが、身体が欲するのを優先しちゃいます～ (笑)

When my grandfather was young, he was entertained with delicious food and drinks every night. I also love meat and often eat it from the breakfast as well, but I’m not as extravagant as my grandfather…
In Japan, medical expenses are mostly covered by insurance, so it doesn’t cost much, but not in overseas, if you became sick, you have to pay very high cost of medical care.
One of my student who traveled to LA in the U.S. had a stomach ache and went to a hospital for a checkup, which cost about 300,000 yen.
She had a credit card with overseas travel insurance and was able to pay with it after returning to Japan, but the cost was like 100 times the amount in Japan.
In Japan, medical costs are low and hospitals are always crowded with many people. But I don’t want to go to there as much as possible.
This was the 2nd time for me to have an examination, but a laxative I had taken the day before made my stomach hurt a lot, and it was very painful.
However, I heard a man who was standing by for the same test as me say that he was going to do the test without anesthesia, and I decided to do the same!
Since I didn’t have anesthesia, I was able to look at the monitor screen and talk to the doctor while he performed the exam without having to focus on physical pain or other sensations.
I was told by a doctor that I was a bowel beauty, but when the small camera with 1 meter tube into my body and the discomfort in my lower abdomen came several times, I had to hold my stomach from above each time, but I managed to get through it by doing deep breathing exercises …
After the end of a medical test, I said to myself, “Great job!” and had some sweets 🍰
It’s summer and I’m trying to lose weight, but I’m going to give priority to what my body wants… ☺
