私は、広範囲の日陰を作り出し、晴雨兼用の日傘です！☂

欧米で日傘をさしていると「おかしな人」と思われること間違いなしだそうです。
​
アメリカから来られた知り合いに「アメリカでは日傘をさしている人なんていないよ」と言われました。
​
以前ニューヨークに在住していた時、ビーチに行った時のことを思い出しました。
そもそも白人ばかりで、アジア人や黒人が全くいなかったのですが、
​
☀女性でも日焼けをほとんど気にしていないことに驚いたものでした。
オゾン層が破壊されて、太陽紫外線によって皮膚がんが発生する率が白人は高くなるからです。　
​
アジア人や黒人は、その心配はほとんどないのですが、私たちが日傘をさすのは、暑さ対策と共に、日焼けによる皮膚へのダメージ、シミやしわの予防になるからです。
​
ここ最近の酷暑に対処するのに、男性が日傘をさすのを結構見かけるようになりました。
今や男女とも夏の生存必需品となっています。
他にも多種、暑さ対策グッズがありますが、それらは全部日本独特のものなのです。
​
「所変われば品変わる」です！
韓国や中国では女性が日本と同じように日傘をさしているようです。
​
しかし、街中で日傘をさしていると目立つは香港だそうです。
欧米では、日傘を差している人は街中にはいないし、パラソルはカフェや砂浜にあるものだと言います。

海外に出かけたら、「郷に入っては郷に従え」の行動をした方がよさそうです。

What are your goods to cope with extreme heat?
I have a parasol that creates extensive shade and can be used in both sunny and rainy weather! ☂

I heard that if you wear a parasol in Europe or the U.S., you are sure to be considered a “crazy person.
​
An acquaintance of mine who came from the U.S. told me, “No one wears a parasol in the U.S.”.
​
It reminded me of when I used to live in New York and went to the beach.
To begin with, it was all white people and there were no Asians or blacks at all. ​

☀I was surprised that even women hardly cared about sunburn.
Because the ozone layer is destroyed and the rate of skin cancer caused by solar UV rays is higher among whites.

Asians and blacks seem don’t need to worry about this, but Japanese wear parasols because they help prevent skin damage, spots, and wrinkles from sunburn, along with protecting us from the heat.
​
I’ve seen quite a few men wearing parasols to cope with the recent extreme heat.
It has become a summer survival necessity for both men and women.
There are many other goods to protect against the heat, but they are all unique to Japan.
​
It’s true that “one place brings different goods”!
In Korea and China, women seem to wear parasols just like in Japan.
​
However, if it’s in Hong Kong that stands out when wearing a parasol in the city.
In Europe and the U.S., people don’t wear parasols in the streets, and parasols are said to be found in cafes and on sandy beaches.

So if you go abroad, you’d better act “as the locals do”.
