これは９３６．６万人の障害者数の％になります。増加傾向になっているといいます。

あなたの身近にいらっしゃいますか？　障害者というとパラリンピックのことが頭に浮かびますね。　英語の生徒さんの中にも発達障害の人が何人かいました。

欧米に行くと、日本に居る時より、数多くの障害者の人たちに出会います。
車いすの人をゆっくりバスに乗せたりする光景は、日常茶飯事の光景です。

しかし、日本で私は遭遇したことがありません。　
日本では、障害者は人に見られるのが恥ずかしいので、家族が表に出さない傾向があるようです。
外国人の方が日本に来て、障害者を見かけないのですごくビックリすると言います。

私の身近な所では、図書館の中にそのようなカフェがあるのを知っていますが、世の中に知られていません。

フランスから来て世界に広まっている障害者によるカフェのことが放映され有名になっています。☕
日本でも今回のフランスのように一般市民に広がっていけばいいと思います。

以下、カフェの事についてです。
2017年、フランスのブルターニュ地方レンヌで新しい価値を提案するカフェレストラン「Café Joyeux」（カフェジョワイユ ”Joyeux”＝楽しい、嬉しいの意）が誕生しました。

こちらは、自閉症などの精神的な病を持つ人やダウン症の障害者を持つ人を、健常者と同じ条件で雇用することを目的とした非営利目的の会社です。

お客さんが「Café Joyeux」を利用し、彼らが焙煎しているコーヒー豆や様々な企業とコラボレーションしている商品を購入することで、障害者の雇用と育成に貢献できる仕組みになっているそうです。

こちらでは、採用した人すべての個性を受け入れ、互いに尊重されるような働く環境を提供するだけではなく、不平等の問題を提言し、前向きに社会を改善していく仕組みを実践しているカフェなのだそうです。

日本でも、このようなところが増え、よりたくさんの人たちに対して優しく、幸せを感じる社会になるようにしていきたいです。

This is % of the 936.6 million people with disabilities. It is said that the number is increasing.

Are there any disabled people near you?　When I think of people with disabilities, the Paralympics come to mind.　Some of my English students had a developmental disability.

When I go to Europe and the United States, I meet many more people with disabilities than I do in Japan.
The sight of people in wheelchairs being slowly carried on a bus is a common sight.

However, I have never encountered this in Japan.　
In Japan, people with disabilities tend to be embarrassed to be seen by others, so their families tend not to show it.
When foreigners come to Japan, they say they are very surprised because they do not see any disabled people..

I know that there is such a café in a library near me, but it is not known to the world.

A café by people with disabilities that came from France and is spreading around the world
has been broadcasted on TV and has become famous. ☕
I hope it will spread to the general public in Japan as it did in France this time.

Below is about the café.
In 2017, “Café Joyeux” (Café Joyeux “Joyeux” = fun, happy), a café restaurant proposing new values, was born in Rennes, Brittany, France.

This is a non-profit company whose purpose is to employ people with mental illnesses such as autism and people with Down’s syndrome disabilities under the same conditions as normal people.

They have a system where customers can use “Café Joyeux” and purchase coffee beans they roast and products they collaborate with various companies, thereby contributing to the employment and development of people with disabilities.

This café not only provides a working environment that accepts and respects the individuality of all the people it employs, but also proposes issues of inequality and implements a system to improve society in a positive way.

I would like to see more places like this in Japan, so that we can have a society that is kinder and happier for many more people.
