外国人観光客の状況がどうなっているかを確認しに、東京で一番の観光地の一つである浅草に行って来ました。

さすが浅草です！！
早くもこちらはコロナ前の状況に戻った模様、人がビッシリで、とにかく人の多さにびっくりしました。なんと、コロナ以降、海外旅行が解禁されて初めての日曜日で、まだ数日しかたっていません！！

彼らの話している言語から見てみると、欧米豪、アジアからの外国人観光客がたくさんいらしていました。

話をお聞きすると「郷に入っては郷に従え」と、外国人のお客さんには、日本語で対応するというお店もありました。

スモールトーク（雑談）が当たり前に行われている国々の人からすると、話をしないというのは、正反対の対応になってしまいます。
それには冷たい印象を受け、緊張感を感じさせ、リラックスして楽しんでいただけなくなります。

ちょっとしたコミュニケーションを取ることにより初めて、心からリラックスして楽しく過ごしていただくことが出来るのです。
日本的な阿吽の呼吸や、空気を読むことは全く通用しません。

外国人観光客が、積極的に旅行を楽しめるようにするためには、意思の疎通が出来るようにすることは必須なことです。

英語がほんの少しでも出来れば、しっかりコミュニケーションを取り、ビジネスをすることが出来ます。それがインバウンドビジネスを行う上でのコツになります。

【Corona is like nowhere, Asakusa is very lively! 】

I went to Asakusa, one of the best tourist spots in Tokyo, to see how the situation of foreign tourists is going.

Asakusa is amazing!
It seems that this place has already returned to the situation before Corona, and I was surprised at how many people were there!!
It was the first Sunday after Corona that the ban on international travel was lifted, and it had only been several days!

Judging from the languages they were speaking, there were many foreign tourists from Europe, America, Australia, and Asian countries.

When I talked to store’s staff, I found that some of the stores were “going to follow the Japanese way” a culture that speaks only what is necessary to foreign customers in Japanese.

From the point of view of people from countries where small talk is the norm, and not talking the language you can understand is the exact opposite response.　
It gives a cold impression, makes them feel tense, and prevents them from relaxing and enjoying themselves.

It is only through a little communication that you can truly relax and have a good time.
The Japanese way of “A-Un” or “reading the atmosphere” does not work at all.

In order for foreign tourists to actively enjoy their trip, it is essential to be able to communicate with them.

If you can speak even a little English, you can communicate and do business well!!
That is the key to doing inbound business.
