My own challenge: Testing myself in a foreign country
I myself feel it’s important to set big goals in my career. I used to work for a major trading company. I was enjoying life in my own way, but my desire to test my true abilities grew stronger by the day, and I finally made the decision to fly out to the United States.
In New York, I got an opportunity to work for a Japanese bank, and this chance came about because I set a big goal and took action. My ability to speak English quickly elevated my value and allowed me to build a career on American soil.
